This is an awesome, awesome meme, stolen from Mimi.
1.) Go to Wikipedia and click “Random”, or click here. The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2.) Go to The Quotations Page and click "Random Quotes", or click here. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3.) Go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”, or click here. The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4.) Use image editing software to put it all together.
5.) Post it to somewhere and tag the friends you want to join in.
You are... 3% unique (blame, for example, your interest in the way lobsters look) and 11% herdlike (partly because you, like everyone else, enjoy writing). When it comes to friends you are popular. In terms of the way you relate to people, you are wary of trusting strangers. Your writing style (based on a recent public entry) is conventional.
Your overall weirdness is: 22
(The average level of weirdness is: 28. You are weirder than 49% of other LJers.)
All things relating to education, patience, help from superiors. The Hierophant is often considered to be a Guardian Angel.
The Hierophant's purpose is to bring the spiritual down to Earth. Where the High Priestess between her two pillars deals with realms beyond this Earth, the Hierophant (or High Priest) deals with worldly problems. He is well suited to do this because he strives to create harmony and peace in the midst of a crisis. The Hierophant's only problem is that he can be stubborn and hidebound. At his best, he is wise and soothing, at his worst, he is an unbending traditionalist.
Here is how it works. Copy this list. Leave in the bands you've seen perform live. Delete the ones you haven't and add new ones that you have seen until you reach 25. An asterisk means the previous person had it on their list. Two asterisks means the last two people who did this before you had that band on their list.

Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to also post these rules in their blog. At the end of your blog, you need to choose 8 people to be tagged and list them. Send an email telling them they are tagged or leave a comment doing the same. (I'm not gonna pester anyone with an email or comment. I'll just list a few at the end.. ;P)
8 Random facts/Habits about me.
1: I love fighting games: Street Fighter/Capcom Vs. ________, Soul Calibur, even Mortal Kombat games (not so much SNK games. They feel too "flat" to me. Something's missing. And the center of gravity feels off or something. Anyway...), but i suck at them. I mean, really suck. Even on lower difficulty settings, i usually lose once or twice before i beat the final boss, and i can hardly beat anyone i play, even if they never play the games. But they're so much fun, i probably play them more than anything.
2: I've been watching anime for 29 years. At least. I remember watching "Battle Of The Planets" in daycare. I stopped going to daycare when i was four. I watched Speed Racer as a little kid, too. I liked these shows, and i remember they seemed different than other "cartoons" i watched. When Voltron came out, i loved it. I came across a show called "Tranzor Z" (aka Mazinger Z in Japan, a giant robot anime, complete with a female robot with missles for "breasts") on a channel that didn't quite reach our area, and i liked it so much, i watched it religiously, even though the station was very staticky, and almost not-visible because it was too far away. When Robotech came out, i recognized the style immediately, and it became an obsession. I even wrote a journal of what happened in each episode after it aired, because, not having a vcr back then, it was my only way of keeping a record of the episodes. When i started going to comic cons in '89 or so, i started hearing about something called "Japanimation" and realized that's what they called the kind of "cartoons" i liked. I bought bootleg copies of "Akira", of "Dominion: Tank Police". I was quite surprised to see violent, bloody deaths, and colors i'd never seen before. I was also quite surprised to see cat women doing a comedic striptease to escape capture by police. Especially since my mother was in the room watching with me. I cringed. She laughed. She didn't mind.
By this time i was hooked, and the word "anime" slowly started replacing "Japanimation", but i was already a big fan. By 1990, i was the only person i knew who knew what anime was, much less was into it. I'd say that makes me pretty old school, considering there are people who can legally drive cars now, who weren't born yet when i was watching Kaneda ride his awesome bike though the streets of Neo Tokyo. I had a few movies, a few manga translated into English comic book form, a Robotech art book or two, some Robotech toys... I was drawing Japanese-style robots - ahem, mechs - in class at school (actually i was doing so back in the Tranzor Z/Voltron days) and getting in trouble by the teacher/known by the other kids for it. Nowdays, it seems that half the animated programming on television originates from Japan. Back then, i was lucky to find a guy selling bootlegged vhs tapes of movies at a comic con.
3: I love the 80's. But i didn't always. My mom taught Disco dancing lessons at a local dance club when i was little. She had a massive collection of vinyl 45 records, of almost any single that came out, which she didn't stop collecting when disco "died". I grew up hearing every friggin' 80's song you can think of, over and over. (Well, everything but metal, really, though that creeped in a bit, too.) I hated it. it annoyed me. It was my mom's music, and i didn't like it much. Truthfully, i didn't like much music at all as a kid. Didn't interest me. But eventually (in my 20s), gradually, i started realizing there was a lot of that stuff that i remembered that i either admitted i liked, or grew to like, or something. Regardless, a huge chunk of my playlist and CD collection now is from bands that peaked in the 80s, had just one hit in the 80s, or just did some great stuff back then.
4: I don't read any more than i do because reading makes me sleepy, quickly. If i want to be awake, i can't read, and it's hard to read once i've fallen asleep, so i don't get as much reading done as i'd like. ;P
5: I don't have a favorite food. If you ask me what i like most, i couldn't tell you, though there's not much i don't like. I guess i like variety, and would rather eat something i've never had than stick to one thing i like more than other things. I do tend to love seafood, though.
6: The first thing i can remember drawing is some Masters Of The Universe character. I looked at a toy/figure i had in 4th grade, and copied its muscles. From then i just kept drawing cartoon characters, anime characters, super heroes, G. I. Joe characters... Basically anything that had an action cartoon and toy line, i drew it. I guess sometime along the line, i started making up my own characters, but i don't remember when, exactly.
7: Hollywood gossip offends me. Okay, maybe not offends, but i can't understand why people care so much about "famous" people so much, or why there are so many tv shows and magazines devoted to the subject, or why people spend so much time discussing people who haven't done anything more important than be in a movie. It's not that i'll get mad, or not like someone if they idly talk about these things, i just don't understand why it seems to be such a huge obsession in our society when there are so many more important things to think about, and i pay very little attention to it. Most times, i don't know who is being talked about on tv, other than recognizing a name. I'll have no idea what they've actually done. (I suspect that's the case with a lot of people who talk about them, too, though. They're just names that go with the gossip.) It annoys me most though when a news broadcast will actually report about these "celebrities". It's not news. There are wars going on. I don't care who adopted what or married who.
8: I wish more things came in a vanilla flavor. Gum, cereal, soda, candy cookies, whatever. I don't mean "plain". Plain isn't a flavor. (Pet peeve: Kids who called white milk "vanilla" in school. It's not vanilla. It's unflavored. Actual vanilla milk is delicious.) I want a vanilla candy bar. I want vanilla gum. I want vanilla hard candy. I want any cereal with the word choco- or cocoa- in it to have that replaced with 'nilla- (Cripes, 'Nilla Pebbles please?! Someone? Anyone out there reading this who has the power? I'm begging. I'd go fairly cuckoo-ish for some 'Nilla Puffs, as well.) I want vanilla donuts. I want vanilla muffins. I want vanilla M & M's. I want vanilla topping for sundaes. I want vanilla-chip cookies. Now i'm hungry.
Now, who to "tag"? No one will do it, i bet, but i'll tag: Aeri, Rachelle, Darla, DoomPlague, Kelly... ...and you. Yes, you. Do it. Or not.
Slept decently for the first time in a few days. Woke up, made myself a big breakfast (french toast with maple and blueberry syrup, a little bit of scrambled eggs, french toast pop tarts [the original inspiration], a banana [also with blueberry syrup, mmmmmm], and iced tea). I'm still eating it. Not sure what i have planned today, yet. But i kinda cen't get over how good a banana dipped in blueberry syrup is.
mood: chipper music: ALI PROJECT, "Boukoku Kakusei Catharsis", and Aural Vampire.
Now's the time to express your secret love for me. Or your mild like. Or tiny bit of respect. Or just your non-hate. Or something. Gimme, gimme. I'm emotionally needy.
Talked to Darla on the phone for a while tonight. Still liking "Heroes", especially Hiro's storyline. Got some supplies for something i plan to make and sell, hopefully making me rich rich. Playing tons of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. I am a Pikachu, and my partner is a Mudkip. Also playing a Japanese Dreamcast Mobile Suit Gundam game which is fun. Rampaging around in a giant oldschool Gundam and blowing stuff up = <3. Quickly filling up my new harddrive with constant torrents. Slept funny today, going to bed in the middle of the night, waking up at around six am very hungry for peanut butter an jelly sandwiches for some reason, hunting for an hour for jelly, thinking i'd found some, but it had expired, giving up, watching tv shows i didn't get to last week, searching for jelly again, finding it, and eating the best peanut butter and jelly sandwiches ever, going back to sleep at like ten, and sleeping til four. Phew.
My social experiment seems to be proving what i thought it would: This video of Japanese Idol Miri Hanai Cooking Seafood Pasta i posted on YouTube is proving that Cute Japanese Girl + Giant Boobs + Bikini Top + Seafood Pasta...
...= Lots Of Hits. Almost a thousand views in five days. People just love seafood pasta.
And my other theory is proven: You IRC guys are cheapskates and bastards.
In an attempt to get a little activity going in this thing:
Fill this thing out, and reply with your answers. I mean it. How much, or whether or not i care about you in the future is directly related to whether or not you fill this out. It's *THAT* important to me.
;P Really though, fill it out. I'd appreciate it, and it might even make me happy-ish.

mood: calm music: Fans inside and a garbage truck outside.
Tonight i: ...ate lamb. ...played a demo of the PS2 game "Okami" that came on a disc with a magazine that i got a free subscription to. (It's fun. And really pretty. I want to get the whole thing. You play as a wolf/Japanese sun godess Ameratsu, and the game looks like a painting, and you can pause the screen and do things on it, from attacking, to making wind and bombs, to putting stars in the sky by "painting" on the screen. Really cool concept.) ...received a couple of phone calls from Darla. (She says i should always write about her, so here it is.) ...watched more .hack//Roots. ...and filled out this thing below.
I was killed in a moss-covered corridor by F A Greentype the nymph, whilst carrying...
the Amulet of Mythbusters, the Amulet of Docbrite, a Figurine of Beguiling Us, a Figurine of Alisachan, the Dagger of Ankhs, the Dagger of Unpolluted, the Sword of Sailor Mercury, a Figurine of Coco and 37 gold pieces.
chobits: Manga and anime about a robot girl and the college kid who finds her and takes care of her. I picked it up because i'd always heard it was good, liked it a lot, got the anime, like it a lot. Read it/watch it. Very good.
fifth dream today: Um. That's me. My webpage, my AIM screen name, my unproductive "band". Probably narcissistic to add it as an interests, but if i can't be interested in my own projects, who is going to be?
half moons: I find interesting things happen on half moons, rather than full moons. I've had some of my best life-altering revelations in the back seats of cars during half moons. Get your mind out of the gutter.
jujubes: My favorite candy. Mmmm, Jujubes.
milk-chan: Milk-chan, a realy funny anime/character, with a very strange sense of humor. Good stuff.
peophin: The only pet i like or have on NeoPets. Goes with my seahorse thing.....
rain: I can't comprehend that there are people who don't like the rain. It's impossible for me to understand. Life is made of water. The earth is covered with it. Why is rain such a terrible thing for you to accept? Because when it rains, you can't go outside and be poisoned by the radioactive fireball in the sky? Big loss.
sifl & olly: Sifl & Olly! An awesome, hilarious sock puppet TV show created by Liam Lynch. I've had a Sifl & Olly webpage for years, and Liam knew about it. Sifl & Olly are totally ROCK.
the moon: Again, who wouldn't like the moon? It's the sun for cool people, and it's not poisonous.
yo-yos: I sort of collect yo-yos. When i see a cool one, i get it. I have a bunch of them with glow-in-the-dark skulls on the sides, some that make noises and light up, and one with glitter and a real seahorse inside of it. Really.
